This is what I found in the process of deciding what to buy to burn my free SYWR points. This is lowest price online. All others range from $9.60 to $15.

Lowest price submitted on SD was for $9.35

Exactly. I would have thought this thread would get more love than it has, especially
with the sheer number of 5 star reviews. Hell, the lowest Amazon has ever had it for was $7.99.
Maybe you should repost yourself? After all, the price has changed. Smilie

I am somewhat embarrassed to admit my blondeness -- this is obviously NOT what I thought a "stud finder" would be.

I just saw you have another thumbs up, so maybe there's still hope....perhaps our bs-ing
has bumped the thread into "trending" and others have started to notice. Big Grin

Thanks! Bought 3 for presents - been watching these on Amazon for months! Haven't seen them get anywhere near this price.

Take a magnet, see if it sticks to your wall. Piece of junk...

just use a strong magnet . . . . that is the best sd you can make yourself (will never break)

A magnet salvaged from a dead hard drive will accomplish the same thing. Having said that I got one of these as a gift and I like it better than a plain magnet because it does not leave any marks on the walls.
