I just picked one up from Target in the Irvine Marketplace. I first asked the guy at the electronics section if they do price match and he said no because a gift card is involved and that corporate told them to stop doing price match on these. He even refused to PM without a gift card because the system will tell him to give me one.

I figured that I was out of luck since this deal has been going on for a few days, but I decided to just grab one and took it to Guest Services. They PMed it right away without any issues and I even used the Friend's coupon for a free $10 gift card with a $50 purchase.

So keep trying both the electronics section and guest services! Happy holidays!

This worked for me without a hitch. Electronics had it sent to Guest Services for the PM. The supervisor pulled out her iPad, went straight to BestBuy.com to compare prices and they gave it to me on the spot, no questions asked, including the $20 gift card.

I got mine at Lawrenceville Swannee RD Target. I asked at Electronic Section and they sent me to Customer Service, the lady at the register said she did the same PM last night so I had no hassle. The first thing she did when she rang it up was give me the gift card, then proceeded to do the PM.

You know.. that guy was just another a-hole. It isnt hard to pm this deal. You are not stealing his bonus or part of his pay check. I do not see why they should refuse to pm. Just my two cents. The corporate thing was a lie.

I had no luck with this. The first Target did not have it in stock. The second one, the manager did not allow the Price Match showing me their policy not to PM deals that have a GC in it. Boooo. Damn NYC targets suck.

Thanks! I got one. There was a woman in front of me that got what I thought to be the last one. They had five more in the back. She was checking out for a price match and I stood behind her and got mine price matched right after. Then there was a man coming in behind us. Must have been fellow slickdealers. Thanks OP

Did anybody miss out on this deal? I am planning on returning my bundle to Target, but if someone would like to get it for what it cost me, then that would be fine as well.

139 is a lot better than the 159 I paid for my 2 systems. I just don't understand it... All other big stores like Walmart and bestbuy will pm their competitors but target.... The only thing they pm is there own website which quite often is cheaper than the store price. Damn Hawai'i
