Deal Details

Target has 3DS XL Bundle pack + $20 GC, price match to Best Buy @ $159.99 for net price of $139.99 after giftcard! Don't forget to use your Red Card for 5% off...
http://www.target.com/p/nintendo-...3&term=3ds xl

I went to two different Best Buy locations this morning looking for:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Ninte...8816654178
Neither had it in stock, so I went over to Target to price match.

FYI, per Target price match policy this holiday season, you only need the printout from Best Buy (Don't need the full ad). If they try to deny you the giftcard ask for manager.

Long live SD!

Worked at my local Target. I didn't try using my $5 off coupon as I didn't want to push my luck.

I **JUST** scored the deal! Thanks to all of these posts. No issues at the Target in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Got the $159.99 price and was eagerly handed the $20 GC by the employee. Will make a great gift for my son!

was refused at one target in hunter's creek,fl because they don't price match bundles according to their policy, more unfortunately thanks to the teenage girl working next to my cashier who eagerly announced "WE CAN'T DO THAT!!!'.. left went to Target in Kissimmee, Fl, more than happy to do it, just no gift card.. but still well worth it.. THANKS!

So my wife has been enjoying her new 3DS XL for about an hour and a half. I was hesitant about Mario Kart 7 being digital and pre-installed (I like the option to trade/sell my games), but considering the other bundles cost the same, this bundle made the most sense. I did notice that when she registered it on club Nintendo, she didn't get any coins (160 is the reward I think). Anyone else run into issues getting the reward for registering a new system? This is only the second system she's registered on her account, the first being a DS Lite.
Oops...I replied to the wrong post...tried to edit...but it still wanted me to write something, so here it is. Good luck with your registration!

That's my Target...sorry that it didn't work out for you, but thanks for saving me a trip.
Yeah, stinks...but after I got back and posted, someone replied that there is a Target holiday policy that shows they should have matched it, and they were incorrect...Problem is, it might not be $159.99 on bestbuy.com tomorrow...print the page on best buy's site right now, take that in to them tomorrow...or maybe it will still be on sale at BB...I plan on going to them and calling them out on their mistake...maybe they'll do it...what sucks though is I bought one from bestbuy.com already. Assuming I'll pick it up tomorrow (at the BB right next to Target in Milestone), I might return it...but only if Target gives me the gift card. Otherwise, it's not worth the headache to me just for the tax costs...who knows, we'll see. But try tomorrow, and show them their own policy.

Both our sons had the standard DS and played the heck out of them. Our older son begged for the 3DS last year and got it for Christmas. I can honestly say it got the least amount of use. In order, he was on his iPod Touch 4th Gen the most, then Wii (Skylanders), then Nook Color (CM7), and then our smart phones, then maybe, just maybe, he played with his 3DS 3x all year. Complete waste of money. And IMO the 3D effect is over hyped, not to mention is makes the kids dizzy.

The beauty of the iPod Touch is that apps are either free, or .99 cents. And all their friends have them. Plus they can facetime each other. It's just an awesome device. The Nook Color is fun for games that need a larger screen, so I'm thinking for a little more money, the Nook Tablet or Nexus 7 would be ideal for a kid ages 6 and up.

Anyone know if target price matches pharmacy transfer coupons from Walgreens?

So can I just print out the online page and go to my local Target? Or do I need an actual flyer?
Naw bruh. All you need is a chump target manager to agreed to whatever you say.

Good Luck Cool

But does it have Nintendo games? Is it 3D?

You are never really buying a system. You are buying the games that go with the system.

Can the 3DS XL be used as a mini tablet? Can a User go on the Internet, use facebook, or read ebooks? Or is it only a game system with nintendo games? THANKS in advance. I bought one from BB and I am thinking of hitting Target for another one for a gift but curious.
