So this morning I open my email (the same one that is currently suspended) to an invitation to join SYWR and get 10k in free points! Why not? Opened a new account, made a purchase and used the points. The love just keeps coming!

More "glitches" i just don't believe they are unintentional anymore. It's not hard to code a website and especially not hard to not make the same mistakes. They need to just unsuspend our accounts they clearly aren't fixing their problems.

You would have had a much better resolution if you had posted your horrible experience on the Sears Facebook Page.

They have special associates (Social Media Support Team) in the Sears Executive Offices that monitor the complaints on Facebook and other forms of Social Media.

When you put a complaint on Facebook, they will try to send you a private message (if your privacy settings allow them to), telling you that you have been assigned a case # and your assigned case worker will contact you via e-mail or phone to discuss everything.

They probably would have offered you a better grill at the same price or a gift card as compensation for your horrible experience and for ruining your husband's Christmas gift.

Just a heads up for future Sears headaches. Smilie

Yep, we had a Sears manager practically trying hard to get them to unlock so we could return stuff and they didn't budge. Just to show how persistent they are to lock us out.

what?? they wouldn't let you return stuff because your SYW account is locked? I've had no problem returning delivered and canceling not picked up items.

They had to do it another way, but that was what the official way of refunding pts, else you will lose them.
