4. GO TO SEARS.COM AND ADD MERCHANDISE TO CART.

I had the above error on Kmart trying to purchase food/beverages that had bottle deposits. I used mygofer instead and everything was fine. Then went back to Kmart and was able to buy other stuff w/o a problem (with points).

I had intended on keeping all of what I had ordered (I only placed about 5 orders in total, nothing too crazy). And my husband hated one of the things I bought him so I did a return, without receipt, and got the lowest available price as a store credit. My cashier looked like someone who had worked there for a while, and there was a line of people returning things....I think with being Christmas they should have a more lenient return policy. Just make sure not to give out your phone # you have associated with your card when you do the return.

My SYW account is still suspended....after several emails and phone calls. Their customer service is just pathetic. I don't order that often from Sears and will most likely never order from them or Kmart again, but I do order from Lands End and now even that account is messed up because of the SYW mess, and I have an order on hold with them as well. The hatred I have for sears, knows no bounds after this fiasco. I have a bunch of items to return too. How did you know you could return your items to the store? I swear one of my items said it cannot be returned to the store. I am kind of worried the store will not accept online orders.

The item I returned, a NordicTrack puffer vest, is also sold in stores. So I don't know if that matters. It was $19.99 when I bought it (before coupons) and I got back $19.99 on a gift card. I am most upset at the small toy order I placed with kmart. One of the baby toys I ordered came with a big smear of chewing gum on the box. Not the packing box, the actual little box the toy came in. vomit Gross....and Kmart refused to send a new one or do pretty much anything. Disgusting. They are just the worst.

It is amazing that your store gave you the store credit. My local Sears doesn't allow return without receipts. I do have some successes on exchange but only after an hour of waiting.

Just made a couple of posts to the facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/sears

I still can't figure out what happened to a couple of my items. One order had five items, and I got two of them in the first shipment, one item in the second shipment, and that was it. From my order history, it's impossible to tell if the other two items shipped.

you will never see those items.

i had the same issue. i ordered a bluray trilogy and still nothing to date. facebook complaint, chat, telephone conference. nothing has helped. no one has any clue what is going on. i keep being told it is being escalated.

It should be on top of the escalator by now.

Sears charges your card as soon as the order is placed so unless the missing items were pd in full with rewards they owe you money for goods not received.

Also, I made a return 17 days ago that still hasn't been credit to my card. I called Sears.com after day 10 and they told me to take my refund receipt to the store, which I did, but the only thing they could do was send off an inquiry to corporate and I haven't heard a word back yet. Keep on eye on your statements to be sure you are getting the credit you are due. I want my $60 bucks back

Just wanted to add my experience with returns. First, I was told they will only allow returns on items that are sold in the store. I tried to return a pair of Carhartt jeans (they must have been mislabeled, they are HUGE) and I was told that nothing even comes up when they are scanned. The next time I tried to make a return, I was told that I had to have some kind of information - a credit card used to make the order, an order number, etc. Totally conflicting info but par for the course as far as Sears goes.

I called once and also emailed too. No reply from email yet and the CSR said they would also have to send it in a emal to another department andI would get a reply. No reply yet!

My advice is to wait 13 more days. Sears is randomly slow on returns. I made two returns on the same day about 30 days ago with receipts. One return was credited a few days later, while the other was credited yesterday. I was about to call them yesterday but decided to check you cc statement online and saw the credit. So I guess Sears can take up to 30 days to credit you back.
