good price but the reviews I have read all stem to quality control issues.....eithrer it a good set, out of box failure or dead pixels.

Not sure about the brand, but good price.

Amazon also sells this so I'm sure they will PM to save on taxes.

I bought this TV for my folks during Black Friday. So far for them it is a great TV, no complaints about it, besides lack of more inputs but .. like I said this is for the folks who just watch two or three channels.

Picture quality looked very very good for this price point. I picked up mine from Amazon for the same price.. but minus the tax of course. Since it was a no name brand I've dealt with before, I picked up a 4 year SquareTrade for another $48 bucks.

The only thing I can not agree with is the OP's nick... good luck with that buddy lol jk. TU!

I overheard a sales guy saying 60Hz LED's are terrible (all LED TV's should be 120Hz). Can someone comment on this?

Did we ever figure out if these will do 1:1 pixel mapping over HDMI?

There are 35% (maybe 40%, I forget) coupons out there.

http://www.maximumpc.com/article/...page=0%2C2 The section on refresh rates should reassure you. Essentially, any source isn't going to be giving you 120 frames per second, with really only video games giving you 60 fps. The extra frames on a 120hz TV are either the previous frame reshown (which makes it 60hz then) or an estimation of the in-between frames. Some people like this mode, but many (myself included) can't stand it and turn it off because the smoothing looks strange (to me it looks like fast forward, others call it a soap opera effect).

I have owned many 120hz TVs and ALWAYS turn off the feature, 60Hz is fine and if you are doing any video gaming you won't want that feature at all. Sales guy sounds like he was upselling

is this a better deal than the Insignia™ 46" Class LCD 1080p 60Hz HDTV $380 at Best Buy [bestbuy.com]?
i'd say. that one isn't LED. I do have an insignia LED this great though.

For those interested. The manual for this model was posted to a prior thread. Linked here..

Also, amazon will pm Walmart on televisions. For those with prime and no tax this may make a better deal on price match. No rush prime shipping option will net you a $3 vod credit as well.
