On my packing slip its says "items discounted 50% or more off the original prices are final sale and cannot be returned for a refund or store credit".
I ordered two pairs, they both fit way too tight and I have to send them back. I'm in the same boat as you nikov3, my jeans were $44 and $48 before coupon and discounted to $26.40, and $28.80 respectively. They better take these back. I don't want to hear any BS about "ohh well sir they were originally $58 and the price was discounted to $44 and tough luck because you can't return it them now!". If they honor the return then I'm also hit with 7.50 hit due to paypal but that's better then getting nothing back.
I would also warn others that their customer service is sub-par. The Black Friday order was delayed for a week before they shipped it out and with a poor response time on a reason why they were delayed and when they would be eventually shipped out.
wow, luckily the 513 i bought came out to $35ish so i could return it and keep the 514's. strangely though, when i returned the item, the guy put a price of $10 on it and threw it in a clearance pile. wtf? normal price is $58. at least i got my full discount back but i couldnt understand what was going on.
i tried to return a pair in store that i bought on the site during black friday and they refused to give me the refund stating that it was more than 50% discount and it is a final sale...YMMV?
it was a pair of 514 "Blue Collar" that was originally $58 but discounted to $44 before coupon, $26.40 after coupon
i'm going to call their customer service line tomorrow and see if that was a mistake
Worst case scenario... might consider: "Items (excluding final sale and vintage items) returned without a receipt are eligible for store credit or exchange equal to current selling price."
Return them and say you don't have a receipt. The current selling price is not final sale, so you'd be able to get store credit for more than the value you paid. Granted it's store credit, but better than nothing. If you hold on to the store credit until next time they do a 40% off sale, it's effectively an additional discount since you got more in store credit than you originally paid. Ethically I normally wouldn't advise this approach... but if they don't give you a choice to return it the correct way, they leave you no choice...
