Man I bought 2of these last week for my XPS 8500, now I am on the fence about putting it in my system after reading all these comments about compatibility, the last thing I want is it fry my new machine. I do believe theres a re-stocking fee should I decide to return.....what to do, what to do....

For most applications you won't even feel the difference between 1333 and 1600 MHz RAM... I would go so far as to say that for the vast majority of people, 1333 is enough. If you are using the iGPU or APU in systems without dedicated video cards for anything strenuous like hardcore games, then 1333 might not be enough. If you liked it then you shoulda put a rep on it!
