TruConnect Mifi Novatel 2200 @ Amazon $59.99 FSSS

Can someone tell me if this is a good deal?
I haven't been following MiFi prices but thinking I might try out TruConnect. Tried searching the cheapest I saw was $79.99 with $25 3 gb card free. Or as long as it's a Novatel 2200 can it be used on TruConnect? I did see some of those cheaper but not sure they can be used on TruConnect or not.
This is only 3G but my phone doesn't have 4G anyway but for the occasional time I might need a mobile hotspot thought this might work out better than other plans.
I wasn't sure where to post this since I don't really know if this is a "hot" deal or not. If in the wrong forum, please let me know or Mod can move it.

Specs:
Connect up to 5 WiFi-enabled wireless devices simultaneously
Portable and convenient - Smaller than a deck of cards
