Ugh. pulled the trigger on this. I've been wanting this saw for a while and it hasn't been this low as far as I can remember. I was hoping to get the saw and T4B stand as a package deal, but I haven't seen that in a while. The last time Lowe's had that deal, the saw was $599 + tax. Living in OH, there's no tax from Amazon.
I really need to get off SD today though. Every time I check SD, I buy something else. |

LOL! Thank you for your prompt response. One more question, he did mention Dewalt, is that a better brand that I should buy? Is Bosch 'just as good'?

Bosch is better than Dewalt. Dewalt tools were very good several years ago but I've heard that their quality has declined. I hope you ordered the Bosch before the deal expired. I would have gotten this saw but I actually just got a 12" Craftsman single-bevel. Lower quality than the Bosch for sure but also 1/2 the price. I paid $225 -10% (ShopDiscover) and used some SYWR points that were about to expire. The Bosch is definitely a better saw but the Craftsman will do all I need it to.

Bosch tools are very nice, but I'd honestly rather spend $450 on a Bosch table saw than a miter saw. Expensive for a non-German Bosch tool, but it's not a terrible price for a pretty decent saw.

What's better, this Bosch saw or the Makita LS1216L? I like the 15" crosscut capability but from what I've heard/read is that the Bosch is a better quality made too but the extra crosscut length would sure be nice to have. Of course the price for the Makita is close to $600 but it includes the laser which the Bosch 5312 does not.
