Needs to have at least 1G RAM. 512M just makes switching between screens a little slow and do not do auto updates because it kills performance on a single core cpu.

DOPO website says 4G on board storage, not eight - who is correct? Some guy has a youtube video which says 8G and 1.2G cpu so the website below is wrong, which makes you wonder if they'll be around to support the tablet.

This has a Rockchip RK291x A8 (single core) Processor w/ Vivante GC800 GPU.

Angry Birds should run fine on this, skype also ought to run fine.

Last I remember checking the requirements for skype were 800ghz or faster processor and Android 2.1 or higher. This tablet fills both of those requirements.
