Walmart has Samsung S3 for $98 on t-mobile CLASSIC plan, for both new and qualifying customers. Great for people who want subsidized phones. 2 yr contract required.

Note: if you plan on migrating to value plan, walmart has ADDITIONAL surcharge on top of t-mobile break-up fees.

Just upgraded to this. 2 yr contract extension req'd. but the great thing about Walmart was that they only charge local sales tax (not on full price of phone) which is rare in Southern Cali.
$105~ out the door with the same rate plan and data I currently have.
