I did see the deal when I clicked OP's link too...I'm just wondering in general why I can't find a deal like that on amazon. My lightning deal is showing a French oven, not this bread knife, or the gerber tool someone posted in another thread.

click on Amazon in the upper left corner. It then has a box that says "Top Holiday Deals" in the middle of the page. Click on that and it will take you to all of the lightning deals. Maybe this link will work: http://www.amazon.com/Top-Holiday...d_i=507846

I just got in on it by being on the waiting list. (You have to keep your browser open to the Amazon window or else you'll miss it.) When it pops up, you only have about 2-3 minutes to add to cart.

As for how to find these "timed" deals, you're right, the front page "Lightning Deals" doesn't list everything. The way I've been finding them (when I remember to do it!) is you go to "Today's Deals", and then, "Cyber Monday."
This brings up a list and you can keep scrolling to the right to see all deals (though some will be already full or expired.)

I noticed that over the last few weeks, the "Cyber Monday" page also brings up deals on other days of the week.

[Edit: I was #60 on the waitlist when I added, that was about 15 minutes ago. It popped up as available for me about 7-8 minutes ago, when I added it. Might be harder to get it now if it lets you waitlist at all at this point.]

Same thing here...thought I missed out but I put myself on the waitlist and I got it! Wusthof knives are amazing and I am still using the same set I got back in 1998. Mine are the "Classic" collection but the Grand Prix II are almost as good as the Classic line and much better than almost any knife you'll find at most of the big retailers. Thanks OP!

Actually this knife was also $22 back on November 15th.

Damn, i check this site 10 times a day and I miss this. Waitlisted #448. My wife loves these Grand Prix II knifes.
