This tool has eight functions: Regular pliers, pinch-style wire cutters, half-serrated blade, half-fine-edge blade, cross-head driver, bottle opener/carabineer, flat-head driver, needle-nose pliers. It is great for camping, hiking or keeping in the glove box of your vehicle. Another great item from Gerber.

I have owned Gerber and I own multiple Leathermans. Like one of the reviewers says who gives two stars he's likely spoiled by the quality of Leatherman...
Albeit the price is very good and the best ever possibly for this multitool. Because of the price I give this a thumbs up. |

I personally prefer the deal they had on the Gerber two weeks ago which seemed to of had a wine opener, separate bottle opener, and belt clip instead of a combination carabineer.
It's whatever you like best, but I'd rather have those other tool combinations. Not a bad little pocket sized tool though, and fits nicely in your pocket without being bulky in the least. ---
