How would this compare to the Virgin Mobile Venture or Optimus Slider? Assuming airplane mode on the cell phones
edit: FYI price of the above 2 were $20+tax people have stated the following: -longer battery life -smaller size, more appropriate for physical activity (gym, running) however, i would counter that the Virgin Mobile Venture has the following features: -size isn't that bad (it's not like a Samsung Galaxy Note 2  )-wifi (can connect and use Pandora if need be) -touchscreen (really no use in a gym, just nice to have I suppose) -volume buttons can be used to change tracks (makes it more viable for gym use) Last edited by nexus14; 12-11-2012 at 10:15 AM.. |

You should change the title to "Clip+"; newer version, has a microSD slot. I've been looking to replace my old Clip (max 4GB) because it won't hold all my music.

these players come up often, and are usually a great deal... sometimes even slick.
Got my 8gb Clip (not clip+, but still has microSD Card, supports upto an additional 4gb) for this price. |

I have one, I'd say not the best, but in the sub-$100 segment, most definitely one of the best. I use a Sony E354 when I'm on the bus or just going for a walk and use a rockboxed Clip+ when running. |

Newer ain't always better. Check out the mixed reviews. In their attempt to go with a touchscreen interface, they failed to made sure it actually worked. |
