two questions before I sign up is with the costco deal how can I combine with a referral and the $5 dollar discount off the 44.99 package? I'm thinking the $5 discount isn't possible but maybe sign up through the costco link, then call for the referral, if anyone has done this please let me know how its done.

i heard somewhere verizon was giving a $400 gc. so DirecTV was firing back by giving something comparable.

Just looked at the costco site, it has the 5/off the 44 package.

Just click the package, choose receivers, then go to directv.com/refer in a new window, poke in the number, your new cart will show the discount.

I've never had Direct TV so not sure how it works but I have 2 TVs and one is HD.

What is whole house DVR that is 10.00? Would that mean to get DVR on both TVs, I would pay the 10.00 extra?

So if I got the entertainment package, whole house DVR and signed up with AAA (do I have to be a member?), I would pay 29.99 per month for 20 months? Any other fees to start-up? I don't understand the charges....i.e. HD charges and DVR charges. I just want DVR on both my TVs. What type cost am I looking at?

Not sure what referrals are or if even can get to stack w/AAA. I'm not a AAA member so not sure I can get that discount.

How about taxes and any fees hooked onto the monthly bill?

I don't think you can bundle with Verizon. You could with AT&T since it's part of AT&T Uverse.

I just booked choice ultimate with two genies foe 40.99$ for a year. Got 10$ off and 10$ off 20$ advance receiver fee with autopay. Also got raf for 10 months
