If I didn't just spend $55 on a 15" de buyer mineral pan then I would probably grab that 15". 15" is massive by the way if you are cooking by yourself. I don't recommend it unless you are cooking in bulk.

I used the 10" for a LONG time and will easily cook enough for 2 people at a time. Get the 10". I paid $7 shipped for mine on amazon about 3-4 years ago though. These prices arent great, but lodge and cast iron is a good product.

Unless you are a carnivore like me. I am eating about 2 lbs of meat a day right now just for reference and use my 15" to cook lunch for 3-4 days at a time.

The beauty of the cast iron is it's ability to hold heat and cook the outside super fast so food stays moist and the outside has that nice carcinogenic coating.

what size stove and do you have good clearance from the rear burners and the back of the stove.

i have trouble with the 12" on the back burners.

You'll need extra space to accommodate the 12" for sure. I usually use the largest burner I have which is smack dab in the middle of my stove :/ and that's for my 10.25 inch!
