Depending on the deal you got for the giftcards, total out of pocket cost can be as low as $305 for the XPS13; now that's slick

But it doesn't bother me. I just keep it out of direct sunlight. My only real gripe is lack of connection ports. Would have at least liked to see a card reader. And my bad for not getting the bigger drive. 128 gigs with only 80 gigs of usable space. I went ahead and bit the bullet and installed windows 8. Honestly, it was made for windows 8. Even with the lower res screen it looks good. You will be surprised at how small this thing is. It's smaller than the average 13 inch ultrabook. Not the thinnest but just tiny all around. I love it.
