Bought it few weeks ago at this price. After the trial solution ran out we are using 1 cup vinegar to 1 gallon water in both reservoirs. Washing the pads before first use is suggested.

I bought this last time around.
I am a bit disappointed at how slow one has to move it to seriously clean. Consider renting the industrial unit at HD for less money and get the job done better and faster. If you do want this or already bought it as I have, go to the Hoover web site to buy the cleaning fluid. They had a great discounted price (BOGO compared to other online venues) and free shipping. I think the sale was good until Christmas but the site is currently down for maintenance. |

I was looking at the hundred dollar steamers myself until I read the reviews on this one on Amazon about a week ago. I've been using mine and am very happy with the unit. I also use diluted vinegar solution in place of the packaged solution that comes with it. I highly recommend picking this up at this price it is a great deal!

Got it today in store and haven't got to use it yet. Super excited and what a great price! though. If you buy it in store be sure to see if it is on display. At the Home Depot near our home they did not have it out on display and I had to find someone to search for it and get a ladder since it was all the way up at the top of the shelves.

Great deal at this price. I bought ours a few months ago on Amazon for $70, and it was at it's lowest price point according to Camel3. It cleans the surface of our ceramic tile very well, but it does have a hard time lifting up stains that are stuck in the grout lines.

It was $48 at my local home depot. Only had the one I bought, and another in a box that had "display box" written on it. Wish it was $39.97, but I'm very happy that I found it for $48.
I actually did a quick search on slickdeals for this mop and glanced at this thread, but quit reading when i clicked the HD link and it showed $84.99. I stopped by HD anyways, and looked for one because there's really no other place local that sold it, at least that I knew of. I couldn't find it at the store, and was about to give up and walk out, when I saw a clearance area and stopped to look at a shower head. By chance, I glanced at the bottom row of the clearance isle, and there were the two twintanks, and to my surpise, they were marked down to the amount that this thread stated. Being that I didn't read this thread, I didn't realize that they were marked down in store too. I was prepared to pay full price for this thing. Last edited by leecm; 03-06-2013 at 09:08 PM.. |
