Buyer Beware, HERTZ charges a $30 processing fee for photo-cop/toll violations and they pass your personal info along to the state enforcement. The $30 is on top of any penalty from the state. Disputed with my credit card and they vigorously enforced their $30 fee.

when i put in the codes it says cannot be booked online. any one help?

So I'm new to booking with Hertz. When I set the location, dates and times and then enter 1261109 as the CDP code and 176492 as the PC code, I'm getting the following error:

"Promotion Coupon - this Promotion Coupon cannot be booked online. Please "Contact Us" [NRX117]"

Am I missing something or doing something wrong?

What are CDP and PC codes? I can't figure out where I should be entering these.

While I didn't jump on this deal, thank you for reminding me to check the rental rates for my Vegas trip next week, my total just dropped from $74 to $48 for the trip.

3.)then look for "Discount/CDP/Club Code:" type in 1
4.)Click on this link [aaa.com] to see any coupons are available, Enter the pc code under "Promotional Coupon (PC):"

Just curious i know someone who works for hertz u think employee get better rates, i just dont want to ask him for a favor if its going to be the same or like couple bucks cheaper

Seems reasonable to me that if you scam on the tolls that it be enforced along with processing fee for them to compensate spending their time dealing with it.

Yes, there are employee discounts. If I rent a car I usually book a compact vehicle and being an employee I will get free upgrades to bigger cars. Also the Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is 7$ for Hertz employees for the smaller cars compared to the 9$ per day. The 7$ LDW is a flat rate no matter what vehicle you get. Compact cars and midsize cars are 9$ per day. Full size cars are 15$ per day. It just keeps going up from there for the big SUVs which I think are around 25$ per day.

No, tax is not included in the 14.99$. Also just some information, if you are renting at an airport location, there are airport fees on top of your state tax so it's best to rent at an off airport location if possible to save some extra bucks, of course because this is slick deals
