LG 55LM4600 55" LED 3D - $799 + FS at Frys.com and at Walmart.com (add Tax )

Damn! Just price matched the regular LG 55" LED from WalMart to Best Buy and got 24 months no interest financing. But now this comes out and for essentially $50 more due to no tax from Fry's I could have 3D. UGH!

Is it easy to cancel a Best Buy order? It is supposed to be delivered to my house on Thursday......

Does Fry's offer a No Interest Financing plan?

not a bad price.. holding out for a sony or samsung at this price though.. very tempting though!

Good price. There is a marginal price difference once it goes above 55 inch
Wish there are offers on 6700 and 7600 models as well

Last week 55LM6700 was 899,

I paid $1,099 shipped for the 55" LM4700 2 weeks ago. Nice tv, nice picture, but if I had it to do over again, I'd look for something with a less glossy screen. It's not super glossy / reflective, but definitely not a matte screen which would have no problems with lights reflecting off the screen. other than an extra $400, idk what the difference is between the LM4600 and LM4700.

walmart is 848?

Considering you can play any SBS video a with a regular laptop with no 3D capability and have a TV with SBS -> 3D capability play it in 3D (not convert to fake 3D) and this does not do that I may pass. The higher LG models have SBS as well as Top n Bottom playback capacity.

Just FYI the SBS movies are playable by any laptop without 3D (obviously has to be powerful enough to be able to play 2D 1080p content) and can run through any non 1.4 HDMI cable and through any non 3D HT sound system and the TV just splits and plays the frames accordingly. This its a fantastic feature I use on my PlayStation 3D display. SBS movies in 1080p are available on the high seas to " try out" but I don't promote downloading them for use.

oh OP you are gonna be disappointed with 3D...

i bought mine over a year ago and so far have watched only a couple of 3D movies/shows... it's mostly a gimmick when friends without 3D tv come over.

TV is for me and 3D is for my kid :-) So I am sure I wont be disappointed as long as she like it !

I have the 4700 and it does downloaded sbs just fine, as well as top and bottom. The difference between this and the 4600 is supposedly the 4700 comes with the soundbar.

Please note there is a bug in the TV firmware where you can't turn trumotion on or off. Supposedly this is to be addressed by LG in a future firmware update. Overall im very happy with the TV and 3D is fun.
