BACK AGAIN! And the status for my order is "Released to Manufacturing". It seems that you will not be cancelled...

Lowest price, even lower than the price of Black Friday and with an extra "Integrated Mobile Broadband (Sierra Wireless MC8355 - Gobi 3000"

Link: http://lite.corporateperks.com/holidayfair (Need registration), and choose Lenovo. It will lead you to "Lenovo Corporate Perks Exclusive Offer", and also give you 3% reward.

To register, you can try your work email or something I found in the internet: http://alamoinsurance.net/alamo-p...ate-perks/

*If you don’t have a company email address click “Have a Company Code?” and register with your personal email address,

Company Name: Alamoinsurance.net and company code (case sensitive): alamoperks

------------------------------------------------
Now the x230 does not show price, so that is the tricky.

choose shop all x230, and the third one without price, customize and buy:

1. in display model: choose the 3rd option: 12.5" Premium HD (1366x768) LED Backlit Display, Mobile Broadband Ready, 2x2 Antenna (You will get ips panel and webcam)

2. in camera, make sure the 720p cam is checked.

3. in integrated WiFi Wireless LAN Adapters, choose Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 AGN

The price will change from NA to 561.66... You can upgrade something else but make sure the price for i5 is above 550 or i7 above 750 so that you can check out.

That's it!

Be quick and quiet... Sometimes it is cancelled, sometimes not.

You can upgrade anything to make the price above 550!

=============

Also it is rumored that you should not choose win8 and win8 is not compatible with GOBI3000, and they have to cancel the order.

Please excuse my ignorance, how does this compare to the twist S230U [staples.com] I got from Staples BF deal for $699? I know they are different lines and it's like comparing apples to oranges but I wonder if I should return the S230U for this.

"Premium HD" at 768 lines. Hilarious.

Any day now, these shills will figure out how badly they underestimated our standards.

While this program gives a much bigger discount over the regular price, the regular price right now could go lower in a different/future promo. I see that the Lenovo discount offer expires on 14 Dec, so I think I'll wait a couple of days and see if there's a promo coming out.

To be fair, it's a decent IPS screen, and at 12.5" it works out to be ~125 PPI. Not particularly bad given the size.

12.5" Premium HD (1366x768) LED Backlit Display, Mobile Broadband Ready, 3x3 Antenna

for only $13 more, if you click it then remove it the total goes down to 578

This is incorrect.

By changing to the "3x3" antenna, it takes up so much space that the 720p webcam can no longer fit. So when you choose that option, it automatically removes the webcam, which is why you're seeing the price difference.

For those not needing a webcam, though, there's no reason not to choose the "3x3" option.

use control positive mouse wheel. 1080 has finer pixels and easier on eyes.

If you find an IPS 1080p 12-14" laptop for this price, feel free to inform us all. I'll definitely buy one.

Do't see this pricing. Says $8xx.00 after eCoupon? Used my legit work email as an adjunct instructor

This is exactly the reason i sold mine. Everything else is fantastic, 1600x900 is the minimum i would go in 14" form factor. the existing resolution is usable though. I am not looking and configuring myself but if there is an option to upgrade resolution do it guys.
