Tips to save money in Las Vegas?

This is my first post. I've been reading for a long time and just recently signed up to the site. I wanted to ask you guys for help on saving money in Las Vegas. Specifically we are looking for a Hotel for 4 on the strip, and if you guys know of any other show deals, or anything like that, I would really appreciate it.

i agree, don't gamble.

Bid better . com helps with price line got rooms at the Vdara hotel, right off the strip, 10 min walk 5* for $79.00 per night.

Las Vegas is a destination that is 100% based around trying to separate you from your money. The second you step off of the airplane you'll find slot machines in the freaking terminals! I don't think I could have fun in Las Vegas if I had to worry about penny pinching the whole time.

Would it be $90 flat or are there extra charges?
