Vdara or aria if you can strech your budget a bit. If you cant? MGM, Mirage, TI, Golden nuggest all provide good values.
If you are interested in a show there are combo deals for show tickets and rooms. Hotwire is an okay source for info and rooms in the middle end. Probably has the best deals on TI and Golden Nugget. I am going to be in vegas the 19-22, Vdara. Highly recommended if you don't smoke. |

The resort fee doesn't bother me. It just makes my rooms $100 a night. I don't really care how they account for taking money from me. That said... Paris @ $70-75 or Vdara @ 100-105? That isn't even close--- VDARA. If I am going to pinch pennies I am going to be staying at Stratosphere or Excalibur for $14... Also, smoke-free is worth several dollars a night to me. |

I made a mistake in thinking I was replying to the poster anyways. If I stayed at VDARA I am sure I would have been smarter and caught my mistake. Last edited by mdm4sfest; 12-12-2012 at 05:37 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Stop whining that you got called on making a non-point. I pointed out something YOU apparently knew but declined to share with everybody else (including the OP).... classy bitching and moaning on your part. Resort fees shouldn't be a matter of principal, it is all fungible dollars as long as you know what it is going to cost. |

i'd stick with harrah's properties b/c they don't charge a bogus resort fee. the planet hollywood is a nice hotel for roughly $50 a night, great location across from the bellagio fountains and nice on property amenities like the mall. sign at www.smartervegas.com to get a extensive list of hotel promo codes.
as for food, i like the $10 steak at hooters, awesome sandwiches at earl of sandwich inside of planet hollywood, 99cent dogs at the back of casino royale you can pass on the shows if you're in town for only a couple of days. you won't be able to make it through the maze of casinos. the best free show in vegas are the bellagio fountains, next would be the volcano at the mirage. best shopping either in the planet hollywood miracle mile shops or fashion show mall in the trump. my must visit, is the sports book at the mgm, it's the nicest one i can find in vegas or try navigating through the gawdy venetian. are all the rooms in the vdara timeshare rooms? meaning a 1 bedroom kitechenettes? I will continue to flame on abusers and killers of deals.
Ban me? Ban them! Ban me? I QUIT! |
