Review on the RavPower 10,000mah Power Bank
I bought this Ravpower power bank [amazon.com] back during one of their sales and so far I am really impressed on how this made my life easier. I don't think it's great to always have this with you - probably want to invest in an extended battery instead if you're a heavy phone user. But for those "Oh s&*t! My battery!" moments, this has become a life saver. I went on a weekend getaway and my phone almost died and I was no where near a wall outlet and this gave me the charge I needed to keep my phone alive.
So here's my list of Pros and Cons:
Pros:
- Great capacity 10,000mah
- Great sleek design.
- Great price for the capacity if you can get it during a sale. Currently 59.99 [amazon.com]
- 2 ports so I can charge 2 devices at the same time. (I wonder what the potentials are if I used a USB hub)
- Indicator lights showing how much battery is left in the power bank.
- Comes with multiple charging tips for various phones.
- Great for long trips or trips you know you might be away from service towers… roaming zones.
Cons:
- Kind of big, but guess this can’t be helped due to the capacity.
- Only way to charge it out of the box is through a computer or something that has a USB input that’s connected to an electrical wall outlet. Doesn't come with an AC plug.
- Shiny finish attracts finger prints and smudging very easily.
Highly recommend this to everyone and hope this review helps someone out there that may be interested.

It's a good size for carrying in a backpack or laptop bag. I use to leave this in my purse but I recently bought a smaller thinner and lighter one from Anker, but lower capacity.
