After a few chats on Cyber Monday, I got a $94 credit. Dropping the price to $899.

Had a CS rep let me order the 55-250 lens with the "$150 off promo" @ $221, said a few days later their marketing and promotions team would credit me $150 back to my card. Never happened, took a few days and tries, and they eventually didn't give me a refund of the $150 in a refund to my credit card, but a generic Amazon credit to my account (damned close to being cash).

So today it drops to $799, and I chat with them again (16th chat?) They deny price match, but gave me a shipping label and he explicitly told me to JUST return the camera, I will be charged the shipping back for the camera apparently, and I can re-order.

What to do. When is enough, enough? I feel like I'm being mean to a friend.

I got it on the adorma deal as well and they said they would charge $10 as shipping and return full amt - $18. It may cost me another $15. So we lose $30 or so. But thats OK.

I thought return shipping was free on amazon....that not case on cameras?

18-55 is better in terms of the picture quality since it has lower range of the zoom

18-135 is the best for traveling; you don't want to change the lens often, this lens will give you pretty nice range of the zoom

but the price? nearly $200 difference....
