Well, that's the thing - especially if one of your coupons had to be adjusted to $0.81, it's highly unlikely that that coupon is attaching to both items. Like z390z says, they probably were able to attach to only a subset of your transaction (probably the mascaras). In the past, many $1/1 CG coupons have also been 992's...are you also sure that's not why those coupons "beeped" (i.e., did they possibly just prompt for taxable/nontaxable)? I did find though that not all $1/1 CG coupons are 992's anymore, just some of them nowadays, but it's still possible.

CG coupon is 0022700 - 096292 and shows mascara. The wording is $1 off one CG (excludes trial/travel size). Travel size is kinda funny on mascara - how could mascara not be travel size?

Yeah, unfortunately with the GS1 barcodes, it's impossible for us to tell anymore whether a coupon is a 992 until it's used at the register. The last time I used a CG coupon was in August (don't judge! ). But here was my experience with them: my local grocery store doubles 992 coupons to face value, but non-992's get adjusted to the cost of the product. When I used a $1/1 CG face product coupon from 8/12 RP on a $1.29 item, it adjusted itself to $1.29. When I then had the cashier void that coupon and scan $1/1 any CG coupon from 7/29 P&G, it doubled for the full $2 value. This meant that $1/1 any CG coupon from 7/29 P&G was coded as a 992, but $1/1 CG face product coupon from 8/12 RP was not. That's why I'll warn that P&G seems to be mixing this stuff up, so some CG coupons may still be 992's (maybe the ones that are for "any" CG?), while others may not be.

But other than that, all I'm saying is that it's possible that Staxin's scenario for next week may still work, depending on UPCs of the products purchased and whether the $/1 and $/2 coupons out there are coded as 992's or not.

I'm more excited about Tide. On last week's ad, one local CVS store marked Tide down from the sale price of $5.94 to $3.99. Can you imagine if they do it again next week with the $1.50 MQ and $10 ECBs?

Is the Schick deal that people are reporting the same as the 12/23 to 12/24 deal? (In other words, if I did it then, can I now do it again?)

I had the same question....so, though it was listed in the 12/23 to 12/24 ad, the Schick deal has actually carried over to the 12/26 ad as well? BUT! If you did it before, you can't do it again? I messed it up on the 24th but thought I "HAD TO" do it that day. Wish I'd waited now...

Has anyone used the 20% off Q that came with the 4-day ad? Has anyone used it on regular retail priced items that produce ECBs... like Lumene? Results?

Bought two Lumene and Colgate. Card was scanned after all items were rung up but before the Q was scanned and it took 20% off of said items. I was out of town in PA when I did this in the morning. Green tag was NOT scanned if that matters.

Thanks for the info. There is a thread in AFC about the 20% \"XTra Day Discount\" and the conclusion about it applying to RR items that produce EBs is YMMV. So I think I will try it on a Lumene deal the standard card first way and if that does not work then try the card later way you used.

Worked for me with Lumene as well and I scanned my card first. The only confusing part as someone previously mentioned is that it doesn't tell you the coupon was accepted until you hit total so at first I thought it didn't work.
