They are $89 on Amazon. They were $80 around black friday but it has since gone up and down.

But lots of channels are not available on ATV3,so really looking forward for Roku to get these channels. Great find OP, do put refurb in the title!

If you are streaming them, try using Plex (on the computer you are streaming from) and adding the Plex channel to your Roku. I have Plex Server installed on my microserver and it works very well.

thanks for that! I just bought a synology nas, maybe I can run that off the nas to a roku? Would be interested to try I suppose. ldo people think that is a better interface than xbmc? I currently just bought a pivos xios running xbmc, but still trying to get all the kinks worked out

Agreed. I use Plex and it works awesome to stream stuff to my Rokus as well as my android tablets. We use it all the time, also use some of the channels available through Plex.
I do like the USB port on the Roku for traveling and wish it had better video format compatibility. I keep hoping for a firmware upgrade to help with that, can't hurt to dream a bit...
