U2410 Monitor for $399 24" Ultrasharp Monitor

I had the Auria eq276w from MC for about 2 weeks before I brought it back. There was severe backlight bleed in the 2 lower corners. The power button was also hit or miss on whether it would work. Switching between inputs was painfully long (not to mention the OSD button placement and operation was horrible) . And the glossy screen with glossy bezel (fixable with sandpaper, I guess) was just the last nail in the coffin. No dead pixels and the color was amazing - but for $429 w/ tax I just couldn't justify keeping it given the other places it was lacking.

Back on topic, I had been looking for a replacement for my LG 246WP when I went with the Auria. I probably would have jumped on this deal had I not been fortunate enough to land the U2713 for $559 from Amazon. My friend has the U2410 sings its praises.

Still only 1920 x 1200 Res and 24". I still would go with the Auria 27" with 2560 x 1440 resolution. If all you need is 24" with 1920 x 1200 resolution, this works good.

A couple of years ago I purchased a Samsung SyncMaster T240HD with 1920 x 1200 resolution and a built in QAM tuner for $256.00 from Dell.

I'm trying to figure out how to best use the Dell eGift promotion on this deal, do I buy a $300 egift card and get $50 so total cost is $349+tax or get the $400 egift card and have $75 promo card for future purchases? What makes the best sense to those who've done such deals before?

Price is still valid, looks like they are clearing out the u2410 in preparation for u2413's next year. Probably will wait for those to drop for my next purchase.

I do have one of these and it has been excellent as a photography and gaming monitor.

Wondering this too. I dont' want to gamble and get the dell gift card promo if the card arrives too late for this deal.

Also how do you go about doing the dell gift card promo?
