LOL this is slickdeals. The majority of posters here drive 13 year old honda civics, use prepaid android phones on boost mobile, build their own computers with free after rebate components, and wear $4 shirts they got on sale from Kohls.
Lol, yet folks are going gaga for buying $500 worth of Dell GC's and not even knowing what to do with them!
To be honest, Beats are decent, but the bass is overpowered and they're a tad overpriced. For $100 you can get some extremely good headphones that will be better than Beats. Look at the Grado SR60i/SR80i or Audio Technica M50S.
Studios are decent, but not for the price. Solos however are horrid in every way except for looks. There is no excuse to buy them.
Yeah - Solo's aren't very good, IMO. Studio's are okay, but too expensive and the sound leakage is pretty rough - you can find better. The Pro's are very nice - got mine during the Monster Outlet explosion when they were going for $100 bucks. Love those, but, given I only paid $100 bucks - easy to justify the love, lol. Still, sound wise, the Pro's are fantastic and light years ahead of the Solo and Studio.
