My coupon was not limited. It took a full $350 off the price of the TV.

Pretty good deal if you have the Amazon Visa and qualify for all the savings. It is one of the best if not the best 1080P TV available right now.

$3499.99 is the new retail price for this unit. It's not 'on sale'. Plus, many do not possess a 10% off coupon and therefore this is a YMMV deal... Not to mention the AMZN Visa card. You also mentioned the $500 promo credit expires on 3/31. That's not much time unless you want another big ticket item.

At this point, retailers are already marking it down to $2799. You're better off waiting until SB weekend (6+ weeks) and getting one for sub $2500. The VT60 series will have been announced at CES and aggressive markdowns on 2012 models will have begun.

According to the terms, gift cards are not excluded explicitly although I would be surprised if it worked based on the "not limited to" wording. I already have enough stuff in my cart plus my monthly subscribe and save stuff to cover it.

Not sure if this is a great deal, but this is the BEST TV of 2012.

I picked one up from Best Buy for $2599 plus tax (total around $2800 and change) thanks to their new price match policy. I had to try two stores but it worked. I printed out the price from Elegantaudiovideo.com and took it to one store. The sales associate took my print out and ran to the back. Bout 5 mins later he came out and said the price was lower than their cost and could not do it. I pointed out that according to AVS forum, there were Best Buys across country matching the price. He only offered to take a few hundred off the sale price of $3499. Later in the day I called another location to see if they would match. The lady who answered handled my request, it turns out she was some Business manager or something for the region. She asked the price and the website. I told her and after putting me on hold for a few she came back and said the manager said if I was serious and willing to place the order right then, he would match it. I said "let's do it" and ordered it over the phone. She said they had to have it shipped in and could pick it up in a few days. I picked it up about 4-5 days later and brought that new baby home....Before I picked it up I was having sticker shock/buyers remorse, but after getting it set up and watching UP and Nemo in 3d, I kicked myself for not getting one earlier...oh yeah I when I went to pick up, I got them to match Amazon's price on glasses at 59.99. The guy didn't even bat an eye when I asked and just thanked me for not buying it at Amazon.....oh and I got the purchase credited towards the My Rewards account, so I 'll be expecting enough certificates to pick up some movies.

the drop in price will not happen right after they announce the VT60. it will drop when VT60 is release in fall of 2013

The Best Buy PM deal had been the lowest price I had seen for this set and I almost bit on it. This deal works out to be about $260 cheaper for me due to no amazon tax and the amazon credit being as good as cash for me. Can't wait to hook mine up. Amazon says Monday for delivery.
