you get the beginner toner with all of the printers. Once you buy the high yield toner, it will last 3-5x longer than the starterpack toner.

Are you referring to this replacement toner [amazon.com] on Amazon? It is of course not Canon toner which is much more expensive, however it does seem to have mostly positive reviews.

If you're a student with papers to turn in you'll save a fortune with one - I had a samsung get me through college, only cost $50 for the printer and $20 for a toner refill from ebay. If I hadn't found a dirt cheap Laserjet on craigslist earlier this year I would be all over this.

Ha, me too. I picked up a used old brother laser printer for next to nothing. Got me though the last year at school too on the same toner. It even duplexes. Of couse it is grey, and not the new in fashion white like my LJ4. Big Grin
