Canon actually surprisingly improved (slightly) the DR in 6d to 12 stops, and the wifi on 6d is in camera, with nicer implementation than the d600, and supposedly, the low light autofocus of 6d is amazing (but for center point only) If you are a wildlife photographer, go with canon. they have better and cheaper lenses in the long setup. Nikon and 3rd parties are sorely lacking a competitor to 100-400L and even 400 5.6. and the canon super teles are amazing (500, 600, 400 2.8). also nikon lenses used to cost more, but canon has caught up with them. especially with availablity of some great 3rd party lenses like sigma 35 1.4, and 85 1.4, and tamron 24-70 VR2, canon traditional lens advantage is less of an issue. Of course, the real and logical question is how is 5d2 holding back your photography, but I certainly understand and often succumb to equipment Lust. |
