Does anyone know if I can order a card reader case online ? The one I got is missing the case.

Was anyone able to find out the actual purchase date for their laptop ? In the BIOS, mine reads 2012/11/09.

go to easy support center and click system details, and it should have a purchase date there as well.

Got mine the other day. It was graded a "6", but there was nary a scratch on it--just a tiny dimple on the cover. Definitely a great deal.

I'm guessing the defective charger is the reason these all got returned by customers within a short amount of time after they first opened the box. I too got a generic charger with my notebook. Haven't had any problems, only complaint at this point is the touchpad could be a little more precise.

I got mine a couple days ago. Mine was a 7, i see a spec of a nick on the back of it but that's all. Few issues though, i keep getting swmagent restarting popup a lot. Also where is the eject for the cd/dvd? Is it right above the slot cause it seems to be sticking out and when i press it in i here clicking. If it is my eject button doesn't work then. The touchpad is the downfall for me. I slide my finger over it scrolling across the screen and it is like im pressing the button, i almost uninstalled a lot of programs cause every time i was scrolling through the programs it would say are you sure you want to uninstall and when i scroll over to no it clicks yes. I'm not sure if it's defective or that sensitive.

I think i figured out the issue, i unchecked the tapping on the touchpad settings and it seems to have solved that problem. I looked up the swmagent and it seems that is an issue with the samsung 7 series. I'll just uninstall that program. So only problem is the eject button, but i can just manually eject the cd's. All in all nice deal on it. Thanks op.

Contact Cowboon about the eject problem and they will probably offer you some compensation.

If anyone has charging issues, it is indeed the generic ac adapter included. Just take the $40 rebate and buy a 90w one on amazon.

SWMagent - I uninstalled most of the software management/easy management software. I kept easy settings intac.

Eject DVD - Look at the blu triangle symbol on the delete key. FN+Delete (or just delete if you have fn lock active) ejects DVDs. I believe you can also eject DVDs from a folder/window in Windows when you open your DVD folder/drive.

Touchpad - You need to update all the drivers for the touchpad, but even after the updates, it won't be perfect. But it'll be very much improved. I was actually tempted to return my 7 until I got the update from the website.

they typically offer replacement or refund, when it comes to the laptop. If its the power adapter, they offer partial refund to get a new one.
