I think you should edit your title a bit. The phone isn't really $99 unless you factor in the refill card.

I have this phone and it's a pretty good device except every so often when it's on WiFi it will start to vibrate non-stop until I power down or do a battery pull. Even with the latest firmware it still does it. That said, this phone on the $30 plan is great. FoxFi works great for using it as a hot spot without rooting.

This is a better deal for the exhibit if you are a new HSN customer and dont care about the $100 refill - $130 for Phone + extras inc case, car charger, app pack

I had Exhibit II for almost 6 month and could not wait to get rid of it. It was slow all the time, sometimes it took up to 5 sec to display contact to make a call and so on. Camera is just 3MP, always low on RAM, and that is after I have purged it with titanium backup and removed all of the bloatware. I did not try any custom roms because I liked what Sammy did to the home screen but I probably should have to make it any faster. It has nice screen, but other than that I am hardly remembering anything else I liked about it. For the time being (until i get Nexus 4) I have got Pantech Burst with 1GB RAM and dual core 1.2GHz CPU which is both double of what Exhibit II has. Bigger screen, better camera, ICS available, very nice interface, 16GB integrated, i love every aspect of it. And I have got it new for $134 shipped on eBay. There is one seller that has tons of them (AT&T branded) and sometimes some for $105 mint condition which are like new but without the box, that's what reviews say at least. It is several times better value than T679.

Dead now, I only see $50 card now. BTW, I think this is better deal because the hsn deal only has an extra charger, screen protector and case, all of which can be bought for under 10 on eBay.

Pantech Burst = incredible value
Pros: Great screen Factory upgrade to ICS available from www.pantechusa.com Works great on WiFi Only Con: poor battery life repped, kit10dog . All other candidates will be like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
