how do I get this $20 off being the new customer at QVC? I placed an order but there was no field for me to enter a coupon code? I called them and they said they don't take coupons? Thanks!

I may be wrong, but I don't think you can use it to extend a current phone. I bought a phone from hsn last year, and got a different type of activation card/code in the package than the normal tracfone card you typically see.

Unfortunately no you can not buy any of the hsn tracfone deals and use the minutes for a different phone. I have bought two of the HSN deals in the past few months. You get the phone and you activate it with tracfone like you normally would(online or by calling TF customer service). It will activate with the typical 30/60/90 days service and 10/20 minutes like any tracfone. Once it is activated you then call a special number that is listed on a card in the box it comes in and go through the prompts there and you then get the hsn promotional minutes and service days added to the phone. What I haven't tried, so I'm not sure of, is if at that point if you could then transfer those minutes onto a different phone, but I do not think so because tracfone terms now state that promotion or bonus minutes do not transfer and I think it would fall under that. Also it would need to be a different new phone not a current active phone. Hope this makes sense. I've been a tracfone customer forever and the HSN prices work out to be good deals, the minutes alone are cheaper than you could get them elsewhere. When the ones I just bought run out of minutes I will likely just buy again from HSN as long as they have a phone model I like.

I got this deal in late December. I activated the new phone by calling the Tracfone customer service. The agent walked me through the procedure to activate the phone and she transferred ALL of the minutes that I had on my old Tracfone. Then I called HSN on the new phone and they added 1400 minutes and one year of service. I am waiting on Amex to give me the $10 credit.
