I have never really bought anything that requires a mail-in-rebate before. How long does it typically take for the rebate to arrive? I know it varies but what's the ball park?

Also, is there any risk of not getting the rebate?

This is a TD rebate, and TD rebates typically take 3-4 weeks for me and as of late, never really have issues so long as you follow the requirements stipulated in the rebate. I have done dozens of rebates through TD and never had an issue except one time which was my fault for not following the directions.

TD rebates are currently processed by 4myrebate.com which is very reliable and fast when it comes to rebate processing. It typically takes 4-6 weeks for you to receive the AMEX reward card from the day you ship across the required documentation. Unless you screw up the almost straightforward procedure of acquiring/mailing the required documents, it is almost certain that you will receive the rebate promptly from 4myrebate.com IMHO.

Just placed 2 orders. each order has one quantity of the each of these car chargers. I will create 2 rebate applications with each rebate application having one of each of these chargers.

I presume you are part of TD InnerCircle since you were willing to pay for 2 orders. As regards rebates, you're just fine with your scheme of things but will end up paying twice the postage related costs. Rather than sending across 2 rebate applications/envelopes, you need to send 4 rebate applications/envelopes for your case.

You are spot on. Got in on the inner circle membership courtsey of TDMVP's slickdeal of 29.99 $ couple of weeks back.

Maybe next time i will ask before placing the orders. I guess at the end of the day its still USPS getting the extra stamp money and by god they need it all..

so it's 4 rebates or 2?

how did you do the belkin ipad case? it's like 1 life time rebate for each household. i did it once last time. but wont try again because it's only good for 1 per life time.

If you place a single order for 2 of each item (4 in total), you need to file only 2 rebates with each rebate showing a $19.98 payout.

As regards Belkin, you're talking about MIR offers for this item. Right now, for some reason, TD is giving them away for FREE (limit 2 per order) as long as you have a filler in a given order. For example, if you are a TD InnerCircle member, you can place 4 orders with 1 charger per order and also adding 2 Belkin Ipad cases per order. If that's the case, you will end up with 8 FREE Belkin Ipad cases just with these orders alone, although you have to file 4 rebate applications for the 4 chargers.
