AMMO Used 30 / 50 cal US Steel ammo cans ($9/$10 FS with code)

Sportsman's Guide [sportsmansguide.com] has used steel US ammo cans in below sizes. Both $8.97 (member) or $9.97. Use code SH781 for free ground shipping

Once used by our troops. Gasket on top keeps them waterproof and airtight. Condition: used, in very good shape; may have minor surface rust due to long-term storage. Ammo not included.

Used U.S. .30 cal. Ammo Can Holds 5 boxes of 20-ga. shells. 3 3/4 x 11 x 7 1/4"h., 2 lbs., 14 ozs.

Used U.S. .50 cal. Ammo Can Holds 7 boxes of 2 3/4" 12-ga. shells. 6 x 12 x 7 1/4"h., 5 lbs., 4 ozs.

Unfortunately they are already our of Fat SAW ones.

Not a bad deal to store your ammo.

Note, SG adds $0.99 package protection. At checkout you can remove that.

Ordered several to replace the flimsy Cabela's dry-storage boxes that came with my PMC ammo.

They are that here as well. (with $8 admission + $6 parking) Even in the Army/Navy surplus stores they are $15+. Normally shipping kills it but with the free ship this is a price I jumped on.

TIA all over the professor plums jimmy!

They are military spec with a rubber gasket in the lid and a very tight seal to keep out moisture. I;m sure they are not designed for under water storage but should be able to survive an inadvertent bath...
