I have 2 old Haier TV from about 7 years ago that are still chugging along just fine. I also bought a 32" LCD last year on BF. There is nothing special about these TVs, but for the price they do just fine.

I looked at the product specs and it didnt say, do you know if this TV has an additional outlet for my Toaster? TV and toast go hand in hand.

Haier makes great TVs for the price. I bought one last year on sale for an excellent price. It has been rock solid with a great picture and thin format. Well recommended.

$10 lower. $339 now.

Awesome price. Just ordered one to replace an old 56in DLP.

Mine just arrived and I think the picture quality is outstanding for $350. Given that Haier is not a top tier brand I bought the 4 year Square Trade warranty so I'm into it for just under $400.

As others have pointed out, the sound is definitely not good, but fine for a bedroom TV which is what I bought this for. For a living room you'll definitely want home theater speakers or a soundbar.

As for the reviews, the overall rating is skewed by a couple of 1 star reviews - one of them simply slams Haier customer service (another reason to get the Square Trade) and makes no mention of the TV itself (or any other specific Haier product). The other is from someone saying that they cannot drive the screws into the stand since there are no screw threads (???) and that the remote doesn't work. Nothing about the panel. Both of those reviews can be thrown out IMO.

I'm happy as a clam with this for my bedroom TV and have the peace of mind of the 4 year warranty.

Oh, and I see it's now down to $339!!

Does it have the digital audio output in the back?
