Thanks for sharing. I called Tmobile and asked if there was any deal but didn't think to quote other carriers' rate. What plan, monthly charge did you get on? So did you upgrade the plan or reactivated your inactive account??

my contract was out over a year ago! so I kept the same plan and added the data for the 2 new phones.$40.00 a month more for the unlimited for both phones! and new 2 year contract

I had called after another SD'er posted they upgraded to the Note II for $205. It was a no go then. I called back after this post and told them that another one of my friends was able to get the deal (being you and the other guy- as all SD'ers are my friends ..) and here goes:

My upgrade eligibility price was $269 at this point. So on top of that price is a $20 loyalty credit (been with them for like 7-8 years now) and $10 off a month credit for the next 6 months. Sucks to be in Cali because I had to pay tax on the full price of the phone, which was $62.24 (would have to pay it anyway). Still, $80 in credits after having received a $70 bill credit last year and having been renewed on a contract a few months ago to bump up to unlimited texting. Don't say that being on contract means you're totally helpless. Just be sure to ask for Customer Rentention and not Customer Loyalty. So in credits: $269-$80= $189 (251.24 after taxes). Also, the nice rep guy bumped to express shipping, no additional cost- just as a happy holidays gesture.

Had an order out for a Nexus 4, but who has time to wait? Canceled! Note II here I come!
