Good price! I got it for this price on a deal awhile back and we've enjoyed watching it as a family. Very fun to watch.

Bluray is just a type of disc. Some blurays come in 720p and 1080i, not true 1080p.

For example, there is a BBC 5 disc set which only displays at 720p which made people weary about buying it.

The 6 disc Special Edition is 1080i though in reality the picture quality is overall equivalent if just different strengths and weaknesses.

I'm not aware of any mainstream Blurays that are 720p though it certainly is possible.

If you are referring to the BBC 5 Disc Planet Earth it is most certainly not 720p. It is exactly the same as the 4 disc 1080p US release, but
it does have a 5th Disc with 2 Bonus Episodes of Natural World which are 1080i60 (playable on all US equipment).

Is this full 1080p?

Yea the UK set. Just want that last one cause it seems interesting. 1080i and 1080p have noticeable quality differences, even if a tv converts the 1080 to progressive scan you can notice the differences vs true 1080p. Though that's just me. May not be a problem for anyone else.
