Okay, this thread got long and I'm not seeing a definitive answer.

I bought two of the deals anticipating being able to use the first top-up card with the first SIM (as Real Paygo) and then using the second top-up card to replenish the first SIM again. What I received in the mail is just the SIM, a brochure, and an invoice. The invoice reads like this:

Sim Cards
PTel SIM 2FF 1


Both packages do not contain a unique code on the invoice or a top-up card.
There is an activation pin with the paper the SIM card is glued to but I wouldn't think that related to the $40 Top-up because you can also buy just the SIM card from them.

For anyone that has done this promo in the past and bought more than one so they could use the top-up card on their existing SIM, please chime in on what was in the package last time?

If we can't with this current promo, have they also prevented being able to activate under a Real Paygo?

Also, has anyone tried using the SIM as an intermediate SIM so as to port a landline to Google Voice without having to top-up the SIM? I know from another thread someone had to add minutes to a pre-paid SIM card and phone they bought before ATT would let them port the number.

I tried out tethering with with the Paygo plan and it works well (rooted phone BTW). I logged into my account and it looks like they also limit highspeed data at 250 Megabytes but allow basic web access:

"Block at 250 MB (Paygo) Blocks data access after 250 Megabytes of use"

"PSD XXL Access (14,4Mbps / 2Mbps) Basic service layer for web access. Additional data SOC required for full data access"

seems like a better connection then my T-mobile prepaid plan, dunno if it is because it is using the postpaid Tmobile signal??

as of now you can add pins to same account, small chance that changes but you should be good, I bought a years worth
