DEAL EXPIRED!

There are two versions of this phone 1) The international verison with a 4.7" screen and the 2) T-Mobile version with a 4.5" screen. The specs below are WRONG! they are for the international version. See here for the true specs: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-5031

befrugal dot com has $15 cashback on T-Mobile prepaid for clicking through their site.

If you're an XDA member, please help support the creation of a device forum for this phone by posting in the New Device Forum Request thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/s...?t=1660354

Please request a forum for the LG P769 T-Mobile Optimus L9. There have also been previous requests for the LG P760 (International) L9, and a single forum should suffice for both devices.

Not sure if there is a 50$ prepaid card with offer.
Not as fast as the GS2. (21Mbps vs 42 Mbps) Otherwise a solid deal.

Who even has T-Mobile coverage that good in their area? I sure don't. I get 4 Mbps tops.

When you add to cart, there is $50 prepaid card added as well. $50 cheaper than the previous deal.

But, to state the obvious, The Optimus L9 is half the price right now. Pretty good deal.

ANyone able to purchase it?
When I give my CC details it errors out. Tried multiple cards, same issue.

Also weird thing is on the last page of checkout, it does not show the final price that will be charged. Its blank.

It is likely due to their new strategy of going full pay on phones with no more subsidy. They plan on utilizing T-Mobile as the "premier" brand of service, and then offer at least two pre-paid services to compensate.

This is a good deal for your regular user who won't be modding. If you are looking for going the custom rom route, your money will be better spent on a GS2, Galaxy Nexus, or Nexus 4.

This is clearly a last-gen device at this point, and selling it for $250 just wasn't good enough anymore. I'd look for the GS2 come down (currently $300) a lot too in the coming weeks. The Nexus 4 ($300 for 8gb) is just a much better device. Additionally, the Galaxy Nexus (16gb) are still reasonably available for $300 or less.
