I've bought from c-o-d-e-x before, she is legit. She's slow on the weekends but fast on the weekdays. I've gotten my codes from her in as little as 10 mins before, average is 2-3 hours. Weekends are a toss-up, anywhere from 2 hours to 2.5 days. To be fair, she does mention in her listings that if you order on the weekend you've got a wait ahead of you.

Every code I have ordered from her has worked on the first try.
How much was codex was charging for the unlock code when u made this post?
I just bought it today for $2.54. Still 20 times better than having to buy an unlock code for the exhibit ii 4G which was going on everywhere for $20+ at least on ebay.

I received my phone yesterday w/ the $50 prepaid card. Charged it up and connected my wireless. Pretty decent phone and weighs next to nothing. Going to connect on the 23rd when my verizon contract ends. on another note, I shot over an email to LG to inquire re: jellybean upgrade and here was their response:

There may be plans to do so, Mike, but honestly when that is I have not received any word yet.

As strong as the Phone Community's desire is for an Upgrade, please believe LG's want to satisfy that is just as strong or stronger, but we cannot move forward until Android and Google agree to make it available

Android and Google... LoL

It has nothing to do with it being an off contract or not - as long as its a GSM phone then yes it can be used overseas.
Without Unlock code you will not be able to use it overseas. Once you insert another SIM the home page of the phone immediately asks for Unlock code !

Been there done that....
