These are good for load once and leave the files in it, such as loading it with MP3s and listening to it in your car. It might take two hours, but it is not like you have to sit in front of your computer while the files transfer.

Might be more beneficial for other read only situations, but I honestly don't know why someone needs to pack over 60gigs of mp3s in their car.
Even if you only load up 320KB/s CBR files, assuming the average song is 4 minutes, that's over 400 hours of music.
That's more hours than what some ppl drive in a year.

I'd highly advise against getting these drives for ppl who do a lotta file transfers. USB 3.0 is becoming so common these days, and with high quality NAND flash getting cheaper than ever, you're better off waiting for a better deal on a USB 3.0 drive.

Right. And 1080p doesn't matter because a few trailing people have 720p.

USB 2.0 is 100% dead (thank god).

I would've jumped on this if it was USB 3.0! I don't have any 3.0 ports on any of my computers...yet. However, 3.0 drives are still faster than 2.0 drives even if you are using a 2.0 port. And within 6mo-1yr, most computers (even budget-level) will come with 3.0 ports, so 3.0 just makes more sense. Prices on the 64GB 3.0 drives will drop this low soon, mark my words

Actually, the most popular deals for flash drives here are usually USB 3.0. (just FYI since you're new)

Thanks...Perfect for what i needed, just storing a backup image that is 58gb in size of an older offsite pc and didn't want to use up my nice 3.0 stick.
