I'm not seeing these prices. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I sign in on statefarm page in link, it takes me to a link that says save $20 with a button for "get started", which takes me to turbotax site, which has a banner with save up to $20 and SF logo. But prices are $20,$20, $35, $55 for the online versions, higher for download versions. |

Thanks for the heads up. You beat me to it this year. For the life of me I always wonder why this gets very little love every year. The reason why I have State Farm savings account is because of this deal every year. Well worth the $100 deposit. Heck, you even get .12 in interest per year!

Reminder: If you check the Forms Available lists side by side, you'll find that there is no difference between the Basic version and The Deluxe version of Turbotax. There is no reason to pay for the DeLuxe version IF YOU DO NOT PREPARE A STATE RETURN and You don't need the "extras" included in the more expensive versions. This is a genuine SLICK DEAL and it's FREE! Jeff

They make it seem like Deluxe does't do stock/mutual funds, but last time I used it I think it had all that. They say if you sold stocks to use premier. Anyone know if Deluxe does the stock stuff?

Don't forget that State is included. I know it looks like it is not but if you click on the link that says how much State costs, the $36.99 is crossed out and the word FREE is added. This has been the case in the past and it looks like the future also. That's why this is truly a SLICKDEAL!

Every year I have stock sales, Schedule C business, depreciation, itemized deductions, retirement contributions and Roth Conversions. I have not found anything I can't do with the Basic version (FREE with the State Farm deal). This has saved me a lot of money over the years. I repeat: If you have a State Income Tax, this might not be true for you. On the TurboTax site you can open windows with the form list for each level of the product and confirm this yourself. |
