Note that this isn't one of those (arguably BS) "cleaners" you just add to your petrol tank.
Some disassembly required in order to use this set. |

Got one last time and it was pretty easy to use, though certain cars will have twin or dual throttle pipe so make sure you inspect your car first. I will say, it did not improve the gas mileage or made the car any smoother. Also, I never got my rebate from last time... it's YMMV.

The premise sure sounds reasonable - an engine accumulates buildup over time that degrades performance - remove the buildup, and things should work better. Thanks in advance for any info! |

well if you are running 22psi instead of the factory 15psi, you might find cleaning out the intake (and having a proper catch can) will be useful. Most folks know that you need to use a more advanced rig to get the cleaner in every nook and cranny.
then again folks using a water/alchohol injection setup have pretty clean intakes. |

In summary - Users of cheap gasoline may benefit from this product, while users of more reputable sources of fuel [toptiergas.com]might be wasting their time with a cleaning product. |

Seafoam? Nothing like 1950's technology! This is a decent deal but buy Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner and keeping the throttle body clean with a quality cleaner (GM made a fantastic one but I am not sure they still do) and you have the same thing. A professional cleaning will get you much better results though. And to those who say it is a waste of money are just wrong using it as a blanket statement.

Interesting deal.. maybe good, maybe delusional. [see below]
I think it sounds like a good set if (1) you have a vehicle with Throttle-body injection (TBI), which used to be the most common type of "fuel injection', and (2) you have some skills (and maybe a helper) to use the whole thing properly. So here's why I said you may be delusional... this is from the description page: "Add 3M Complete Fuel System Cleaner to a full tank, at a recommended delusion ratio of one ounce of additive to each gallon of fuel."
