I agree that some people are more discerning than others. I think for the cheap price, it's well worth the try. These are hard to beat for the price imo. They can always be thrown away if you don't like it. Heck, it's only a dollar shipped for many of them.

As for the sticky feel, I think it actually goes away rather than getting used to it.

I have very good experience with xtremeguard. I think they are better than many dry installations I used. I noticed that there is some stickiness after installation too. But I realize it is caused by soap water residue after installation. Just use wet towel to swipe the soap residue on the surface, the stickiness will be gone.

For anyone who has never used xg, try them. I ordered 3 for my S3 and threw the second 2 away.

For phones, dry application is the way to go. Never need wet.

These things are garbage. I bought 4 before an threw em all out. Save your money and spend it ona be better one. These things suck.

Bought 2 full body protectors for iPhone 5 last time they had a sale. Application is messy and long, and it's next to impossible to get a good clean surface without any air bubbles - I was SUPER careful the 2nd time but still did not get a good result. I would not buy these again. However, I will applaud their customer service for fulfilling on their satisfaction guarantee and giving a prompt refund .. If their products get better, I'd be happy to shop with them again.

The product is terrible. I have it on Iphone 5. I remove it right away. Its a piece of junk!

I have used these on many tablets and phones and not had any problems with bubbles or a sticky feel. I guess it really must all in the way you install them, or maybe I am not that particular. In any event, you cannot go wrong for the price.

So far i've tried Zagg and Skinomi and in my experience they've been about the same when it comes to stickiness so I imagine these wet application protectors are probably all about the same, however overall out of the two I ended up being more satisfied with Skinomi as the imperfections seemed to disappear faster than with the zagg.

I ordered three last sale, and they were fine. I'm pretty nutty about getting these things on correctly without bubbles, so one of them I did twice, but I don't find it to be particularly sticky. There was a manufacturing defect in the plastic on one of them, so they sent me a replacement with no trouble. Getting the one off that I botched the install of was a b*tch the next day, so they definitely adhere well and are nearly impossible to tear.

My buddy just got a S3 this weekend, so I compared it to the Zagg he bought, and it's practically identical (except that his had bubbles!). If anything, there was a hair more orange peel look to mine, but you REALLY had to look to even notice.

I bought 3 for a dollar each. Not worth it. stay away.
