Contacted them, they are offering a 37.50 refund (15%) or to send a replacement. I don't think 37.50 is enough considering I lose access to all 3 games as well as PSN. Trying to to see if they are willing to give more. Hopefully this will help anyone else in a similar situation.

The super slim is quieter than my slim by quite a bit, especially when reading game discs. My slim makes all kinds of noise loading some game discs. Either I got a reject slim or people must have got reject super slims.

I have been unable to play PS2 games on it. It says "Unsupported Data, this model of the PS3 system is not compatible with PlayStation2 format software"

I do not play games at all, but I bought it for my kids and thought they could play their PS2 games on it as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Correct - I've been operating on the impression that the CECHAB, CECHB, CECHC and CECHE models were mostly backwards compatible.
