there's a 'touch-up' setting on my frontload dryer, seems to get the wrinkles out just fine, no work no fuss!

Welp, I hate ironing, and I've been meaning to try one of these, so I bit. I'm hopeful that it's easier than ironing.

I have been looking at an alternative to iron and iron board. My clothes get pretty wrinkled and I hate ironing.

Is this a good alternative to remove wrinkles? Can someone who owns this product please comment?

Never used it. I will bite if it replaces iron. Anyone with first hand experience?

Definitely! I use one similar to this every morning to get a shirt ready. Takes a couple minutes and the shirt is good to go. I tend to be lazy when doing laundry now and hang the shirts knowing I can steam them fast when needed.

Be sure to use distilled water to reduce buildup in the machine.

Edit: I still have an iron in the closet, but I havent used it in about 1.5 years now. But, you never know when you'll need that crisp look as a steamer doesn't flatten.

For those who buy this:

A nice trick is to take a white washcloth from dollar tree (or anywhere cheap) and tie it around the steam end with a big rubber band. The steam still comes out strong but it will not put water droplets on your garments. This is especially good for silks.

How well do these things work on men’s dress pants (those made of some sort polyester blend?)

I bought one of these to use with my steamer
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Honey-C...k/17108661
makes it easier to work on steaming my clothes...I can do 30 shirts (a month's worth) in about an hour...you have to put the steam tip on the cloth, some people thing it's a magic wand and that just waving the steamer in the direction of the cloth will get the wrinkles out like magic dust...grab the end on the shirt or pants and slight stretch the material while running the tip (touching the material) over the wrinkles....it's faster than an iron and you don't have to take the clothing off the hanger.
